The first time I ever tried Apple Kuchen, was about 10 years ago on my first trip to Michigan to meet my husbands extended family. His sweet Aunt Terri came over for Friday night pizza night and brought this dessert. I was a little skeptical simply because I had never even heard of it! All it took was one bite and I was hooked-it was delicious!
It’s now become my go-to dessert for Thanksgiving. My family looks forward to it every year. (We aren’t big fans of pumpkin pie around here!) Now that my daughter and I are gluten free, it was a no-brainer that I would find a way to make this recipe gluten free. And I’m happy to say I have! I made this dish for Thanksgiving this past year and everyone loved it and I hope you do too!
